The Pitter Patter Of Tiny Hooves This April

Half-term has arrived, so as I take a minute out to spend with my family, the team are very busy making sure there’s plenty of new things happening at The Goat Shed!

I can’t quite believe it, but this Friday the shop turns two!

Time flies, but 17th February is two years to the day since we opened the shop, wow, what a journey it has been and thanks to our true fans continuing to support us, we don’t plan on stopping here! We would like to invite you all to join us in celebrating this on Friday, they’ll be cake of course and as ever it will be lovely to see you all ✨

You may have seen on socials this week that we had some very exciting news…we’re expecting!!

Beginning of April we expect to hear the pitter patter of tiny feet….I’m referring to the goats of course! The vet was brilliant and although difficult to determine exact numbers and timings, we will be welcoming kids to The Goat Shed family and can’t wait to share this journey with you. They’ll be lots of video’s and pics on socials to keep you updated with how the Nanny’s are doing and of course we’ll share the big news with you when they arrive, even more of a reason to pop in and see us

Speaking of new mum’s…have you seen what we’re up to for Mother’s Day this year?

‘Family’ is one of the main values of The Goat Shed, so we’ve decided to put on a very special event this year for Mother’s Day….Afternoon-Tea, Goat Shed style!

You may well have heard or even experienced one of our amazing grazing boards before, a selection of homemade sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes & scones, however, to show how much we love our mum’s (step-mum’s, grandma’s- whoever that special person might be!) , the Kitchen team have taken our grazing board to another level….believe me, I got involved with the team sampling session and it’s the best yet!

With half-term upon us, you may be looking for something different to do with your children or grandchildren this week, why not come and take part in our big Goat Shed Quiz! Visit us between the 13th and 17th February, collect a quiz sheet from a member of the team and have fun finding the answers round the Farm Shop & Kitchen! There’s colouring too! Once you’ve finished hand it in at one of the tills and you could win a cuddly goat!

The new Cheese room & Deli has been a big hit, we’re so grateful for all your support and of course for spreading the word and telling your friends about it, it makes such a difference.
